What to expect

Hamama Falls is a large, hidden waterfall in the back of Waihe'e Valley. The hike is roughly 4 miles round trip and takes around 1-2 hours depending on the time you spend at the falls. Although it may not be well known, the waterfall is one of the biggest on the island of Oahu. The trailhead begins at the end of Waihe'e Rd. in Kaneohe. Walk to the end of the road and around the gate. The Hamama Falls trail is an easy-to-follow, dirt path leading to the massive waterfall. There is a decent sized swimming hole on the left hand side of the trail about 10-15 minutes in. After, there are several uphill stretches that will lead you to the 40-foot waterfall! ENJOY!

This hike is on Board of the Water Supply land, you need a permit to legally do this hike.

Tips
- Family Friendly Hike
- Wear your board shorts/bikini so you can jump in the swimming hole !
