What to expect: Moderate and very muddy hike to a 20ft waterfall. Trail begins behind a yellow gate in the back of the Maunawili neighborhood off of Maunawili Rd. This hike is fairly trafficked so just follow the unmaintained trail and pink ribbons. You will have to cross the river to continue towards the waterfall. Once you head down the steps to the river, head 5 minutes upstream and you will wind up at Maunawili Falls. Beautiful swimming hole and Cliff jumping spot around the waterfall. Expect lots of mosquitos.
